Finance Manager
In this role, you will prepare timely and accurate financial reporting and support analysis of the financial impact of business issues, opportunities, and decisions. Working closely with the finance team in India, you will ensure transparency of financial information in compliance with BCD Group guidelines, strengthen internal controls, and maintain governance compliance in line with local and international accounting standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Target Achievement
- Support country budget targets.
- Identify areas to increase EBITDA for local SLT and Country Director.
- Provide variance analysis to aid decision‑making.
Financial
- Manage the local finance team.
- Support departmental and regional organizational goals.
- Lead annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
Budget Process
- Build annual budgets with input from local SLT and Country Director.
- Support Finance Director and Country Director during budget reviews.
Forecast Process
- Develop monthly forecasts starting from budget inputs.
- Provide monthly analysis of Actuals vs. Forecast for reporting.
Tax
- Collaborate with local tax team (BCD Travel Team) on Tax/GST matters.
Variance Analysis
- Prepare monthly flash reports with Country Director.
- Provide bridges for Actuals vs. Forecast vs. Budget.
- Deliver ad‑hoc variance analysis for Finance Director and Country Director.
Leadership
- Support annual team goals and monitor quarterly progress.
Coach And Mentor Staff
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and quarterly reviews.

- Internal: Country Director, Finance Director.
Education / Knowledge / Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
- Chartered Accountant mandatory.
- 7–10 years of experience in accounting/finance.
- Proficiency in SAP, Word, and Excel.
- Prior experience in Travel or Meetings & Events industry (hotel experience a second preference).
- In‑depth knowledge of taxation laws for M&E.
- Strong understanding of IFRS (International Accounting Standards).

- Ability to work other shifts, weekends, and beyond 40 hours/week if required.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
Travel
- Domestic and international travel required (car, plane, train).
- Ability to transport personal luggage during travel.
