Job summary

FLSmidth in Chennai, India, is seeking an EMEA Financial Controller for GBS mining to lead financial reporting for ECANA entities. You will coordinate month-end close, analyze variances, and ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance in a dynamic, global environment.

Role requires CA or equivalent with 7+ years as a Controller, strong Excel, and ERP experience (Oracle/Hyperion/OneStream/D365). Collaboration with GBS and internal audit will be key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountancy or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Controller.
• Solid knowledge of reporting standards and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the financial reporting for ECANA entities in cooperation with Global Business Support.
• Oversee month-end close, Balance Sheet, P&L reviews, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate and support audits with Group Finance and external auditors.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support and financial modeling for business cases.
