Maersk Line India Pvt Ltd is seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to support the Ocean Market team with high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The role requires strong FP&A skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive value.

The candidate should have MBA-Finance with substantial experience in modelling, budgeting, and scenario analysis, and be proficient in Excel, SAP, BI/BW, and Power BI.

• Experience of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting process.
• Strong working proficiency on Microsoft Excel, SAP, BI/BW, Power BI.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support our Ocean Market team. The successful candidate will ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support ocean initiatives and day-to-day operations. This role requires a strong blend of financial expertise, business acumen to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and add value to the business team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary finance partner for the Ocean market, providing Analysis on financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify and prioritize key financial and operational drivers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and present financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support long-term planning and investment decisions.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

Experience / Qualifications:

• MBA-Finance with 8-10 years of overall experience and 5+ years in FPNA.
• Experience of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting process.
• Working proficiency on tools such as Microsoft Excel, SAP, BI/BW, Power BI.
• End-to-end ownership and accountability - taking initiative, not waiting for direction.
