Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk in India is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 4–6 years of experience in financial consolidation, group reporting and financial controlling. The role requires hands-on experience with HFM/OneStream and advanced Excel, and excellent English communication.

BPO experience is a plus, with focus on IFRS compliance and timely reporting. Responsibilities include reviewing monthly reports, controlling inputs in OneStream, performing variance analysis, and supporting balance sheet

Qualifications

• CA with 4–6 years of experience in financial consolidation, group reporting and financial controlling.
• Proficient in HFM/OneStream, Smart View, Windows OS and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication in English; experience in BPO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial reporting for IFRS compliance and group policies.
• Control inputs in OneStream; perform variance analysis on PnL, balance sheet, cash flow.
• Ensure timely sign-off by entities; respond to reporting queries and improve OneStream reporting.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations, risk-based reviews, and mapping with local COA.

Job description

• Reviewing monthly financial reporting completed by accounting teams. Ensuring compliance of accounting with respect IFRS and Group Reporting and Accounting Policies.
• Controlling of inputs - Financial and operational data in One stream. Variance analysis of all components of financial statements including PnL, Balance sheet, cash flow and off-balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure timely sign off by entities in One stream with continuous follow up and communication. Assist entities with reporting queries to enable timely sign off from entities.
• Communicate proactively with entities to improve One stream reporting. Prepare various control related reports with analytical commentary. Support various projects related to balance sheet reconciliations, Risk based financial reviews, Validating One stream mapping with local chart of accounts and providing recommendations to entities, Group Tax Project etc.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

• CA with prior experience in FNA domain of at least 4 to 6 years in financial consolidation for the group, financial controlling and reporting.
• Prior experience of working on HFM/ One stream application and smart view, Advanced working knowledge of HFM/ One stream Computer literate (Windows) & Strong MS Excel skills (v-lookup, Pivots, Complex formulae) and MS PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills (English) – Fluent Oral & Written Analytical & Problem-Solving ability for trouble shooting Prior experience in BPO is preferable
