Job summary

Flex invites applications for a Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions in Chennai. You will support cost accounting activities, learn corporate policies, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives within a global manufacturing environment.

Ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 2 years in finance. Strong MS Office skills and English communication are required, with a willingness to learn and grow in cost accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Freshers / 0-2 years of experience in relevant field.
• Basic level knowledge in MS applications.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
• Good team player with analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn & deploy the skills learnt in day to day process.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Understand & interpret accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cost accounting activities as defined.
• Understand corporate policy and follow-up of key cost accounting metrics.
• Implement time saving/cost reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens & process improvements.
• Work along with operations team & track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow ups.
• Posting month end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
• Prepare & maintain SOP in line with the latest process and document them in DMS.
• To learn & serve as backup for cost accountant.

• Perform all cost accounting activities that are defined.
• Understand the corporate policy and follow-up of key cost accounting metrics.
• Implement time saving/cost reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens & process improvements.
