Job summary

Flexing It is seeking a Consultant - Finance Planning & Analytics for an independent 12-month engagement with a leading global FMCG client. You will build and refine financial models, perform variance analysis and generate insights to support forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning.

In this onsite Mumbai role, you will partner with operations, sales and marketing to drive cost efficiencies, revenue growth and robust financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 3–5 years FP&A, financial analysis or related experience.
• Strong financial modeling, data analysis and forecasting skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP/Hyperion/Anaplan is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

This is an independent consulting role with our client, a leading global FMCG organisation that is looking to engage with a Consultant - Finance Planning & Analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into key financial metrics, trends, and drivers.
• Collaborate with business units to analyze financial data and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Skills Required

-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

-3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related role.

-Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.

-Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial software such as SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar tools is a plus.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

-Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

-Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

-Experience in process automation and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
