Job summary

Aceolution Inc. in Chennai is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A/Business Finance Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business performance analysis.

You will work with finance, delivery and operations teams to monitor profitability, run financial models, and provide insights to drive cost optimization and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has 2–6 years in FP&A, strong Excel, and experience with P&L, revenue and cost management, plus ability to transform data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or related field.
• 2–6 years of FP&A, Business Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or Financial Reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling.
• Good knowledge of P&L, revenue, cost management, and profitability analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and convert financial information into actionable insights.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and rolling financial plans.
• Analyse actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts and previous periods.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, KPI summaries and management presentations.
• Monitor project-level revenue, costs, profitability, resource utilisation and operating expenses.
• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to understand financial requirements and business performance.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate hiring, resource allocation, utilisation and cost impacts.
• Support P&L monitoring, revenue forecasting, cost management and margin improvement initiatives.
• Identify financial risks, cost variances and opportunities for operational efficiency.
• Perform headcount planning, resource-cost forecasting and project profitability analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or Financial Reporting.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
• Good knowledge of P&L, revenue, cost management, and profitability analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Power BI, Power Query or similar reporting and data visualisation tools.
• Experience in IT services, technology or project-based business environments.
• Knowledge of project revenue, delivery costs, headcount planning, resource utilisation and margin analysis.
• Experience working with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of financial reporting automation and process improvements.
