Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Financial Analyst role based in Maharashtra, India. The Financial Analyst will review and interpret financial statements, perform detailed financial modeling, and support credit rating and analytical assignments across sectors. Responsibilities include conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, preparing financial reports and presentations, and contributing to sector and company research. The role involves supporting financial planning activities, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver timely and insight-driven analytics. The Financial Analyst will also assist in monitoring assigned entities, tracking market developments, and contributing to internal process improvements.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and valuation fundamentals.
  • Candidates should possess solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, perform ratio analysis, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in financial statements and financial reporting, including understanding of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and financial modeling tools, and familiarity with data analysis or BI tools is beneficial.
  • Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced analytical environment.
  • Prior experience in credit analysis, ratings, banking, or financial services is preferred but not mandatory for highly capable early-career applicants.
