Job summary

Capita in Mumbai is seeking an Analyst (Staff/Senior) to join our finance team. The role focuses on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and building robust financial models to guide strategic decisions.

The candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, prepare dashboards with Power BI, and ensure data integrity in ERP systems. Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (mandatory).
• CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 4-9 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards.
• Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results with forecasts and budgets.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic planning.
• Support the development and maintenance of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
• Partner with business units to gather financial inputs and validate assumptions.
• Track budget vs. actual performance and provide commentary on variances.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in ERP and reporting systems.
