Overview

The Financial Analyst will report to Lead FP&A and be responsible for preparation, reporting, and variance analysis of departmental budgets, forecasts, and key financial metrics. The role includes business performance reporting and providing insights to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for senior management.
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments and reporting requirements as they arise.
• Build cohesive narratives and present data with high-end insights.
• Drive initiatives to build analytics for a better presentation of the financials to business.
• Build and assist financial models or maintain/update existing models to support financial analysis.
• Communicate effectively with key FP&A stakeholders and global teams across Finance.
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve processes and reporting for standardization across teams.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely completion of processes and reporting.
• Be adaptable to a constantly evolving, changing, and challenging environment.
• Develop and institutionalize financial models, analyses, key business metrics that drive profitable business growth, efficiency and improvement.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. Additional qualifications such as CA/Inter preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in the Finance Department of a reputed organization.
• Excellent at crunching numbers and understanding the impact of transactions.
• Excellent functional knowledge of accounting systems, processes, fund flow management, statutory compliance, taxation and MIS reporting to senior management.
• Eye for detail in reconciling various reports and tabs within a report.
• Flexibility in work hours to cross with US Finance team in India’s evenings.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
