Job summary

Arbor Mobility is seeking a finance professional with 1–2 years of experience to join our Bengaluru-based startup. The role blends finance, operations and strategy, offering high ownership as you help build and scale an infrastructure-heavy venture in the electric mobility and energy space.

You will work closely with the business team on financial planning, accounting, compliance, fundraising support, and strategic decisions like regional expansion and fleet deployment, with exposure to audits

Qualifications

We’re looking for a finance professional with 1–2 years of experience, who is eager to take on a broad, high-ownership role. At Arbor Mobility, you’ll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy in the fast-growing electric mobility and energy space, working closely with the business team to help build and scale the venture from the ground up. . You’ll work closely with the business team to build and scale an infrastructure-heavy venture from the ground up, with exposure to strategic finance, business finance & operations, financial planning, accounting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on financial modelling, forecasting, and business planning.
• Support fundraising, investor decks, and data rooms.
• Contribute to expansion decisions such as new regions, fleet scale, and infrastructure deployment.
• Build and streamline finance processes.
• Prepare and support purchase orders (POs) and assist with month-end payroll processing and related financial activities.
• Support monitoring cost structures across vehicles, energy, and operations.
• Support pricing, cost optimization, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Own day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC).
• Prepare financial statements, MIS, and cash flow reports with real-time business visibility.
• Work directly with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications Required:

• Recently qualified CFA/CMA/CA (01 years) with strong fundamentals in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, accounting and Excel proficiency.
• High ownership mindset and attention to detail, paired with sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment

Note:

This is a 30% Accounts & 70% Finance-focused role, with strong focus on strategic and business finance.
