Job summary

Astranova Mobility is seeking a technically strong Finance Controller to anchor the controllership function. You will own the integrity of books, establish robust financial controls, and ensure statutory, regulatory, and reporting obligations are met across all group entities.

The role requires CA qualification and 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance leadership, with deep knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST, TDS, and taxation, and hands-on audit management. Location: Gurugram, WFO.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements per Indian GAAP.
• Manage journal entries, ledgers, and inter-company eliminations.
• Produce internal management reports and board-level financials.
• Maintain fixed asset register and tax compliance (GST, TDS, corporate tax).
• Lead statutory audits end-to-end and strengthen internal controls.
• Document SOPs for core controllership processes.

About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Finance Controller to anchor the controllership function at Astranova Mobility. This is a foundational role you will own the integrity of our books, establish robust financial controls, and ensure that our statutory, regulatory, and reporting obligations are met with precision across all group entities.

Key Responsibilities

• – Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• – Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP.
• – Manage journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and inter-company eliminations.
• – Produce accurate internal management accounts and board-level financial reports.
• – Maintain a robust fixed asset register.
• – Ensure full and timely compliance with all applicable tax statutes (GST, TDS, corporate income tax).
• – Lead the statutory audit process end-to-end.
• – Design, implement, and continuously strengthen internal financial controls.
• – Establish and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for core controllership processes.

Experience & Qualifications

• – Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
• – 5 – 8 years of progressive experience in a Finance Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Finance Manager role.
• – Deep, working knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST, TDS, and corporate direct taxation.
• – Prior experience in an asset-heavy business (leasing, infrastructure, manufacturing, fleet management, or financial services) is a strong advantage.
• – Hands-on experience managing statutory audits independently.

Salaries: Market Standard + ESOPs
