Job summary

Arbor Mobility Private Limited is seeking a finance professional with 1-2 years of experience to join the Founders' Office. You will work directly with the founders and business teams across finance, operations, strategy and business planning in a fast-growing EV space, gaining hands-on exposure to key decisions and cross-functional projects.

You will help build a finance-function from the ground up, influence pricing and cost structure, and drive reporting and compliance including GST and ROC,

Responsibilities

• Work with founders on financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
• Support on investor decks, financial analysis, fundraising and data rooms.
• Provide inputs for business expansion, fleet scaling, new regions, and infra decisions.
• Drive finance processes to improve efficiency and visibility.
• Coordinate on POs, payroll, and other finance operational activities.
• Track cost structures across vehicles, energy, and operations for optimization.
• Support pricing, cost optimization, and margin improvement.
• Collaborate to bring financial discipline and data-driven thinking to decisions.
• Oversee accounting, reporting and compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS, and cash flow reports for real-time visibility.
• Interact with auditors, consultants, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc financial and business analysis for founders.

We're looking for a finance professional with 1-2 years of experience who is eager to take on a broad, high-ownership role within the Founders' Office. At Arbor Mobility, you'll work closely with the founders and business teams across finance, operations, strategy, and business planning in the fast-growing electric mobility and energy space. You'll get hands-on exposure to key business decisions, financial analysis, growth initiatives, and cross-functional projects while helping build and scale an infrastructure-heavy venture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the founders on financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
• Support on investor decks, financial analysis, fundraising and data rooms.
• Provide financial inputs and analysis for business expansion, fleet scaling, new regions, and infrastructure decisions.
• Drive and streamline finance processes to improve efficiency and business visibility.
• Coordinate on purchase orders (POs), month-end payroll, and other finance-related operational activities.
• Track and analyse cost structures across vehicles, energy, and operations to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support pricing, cost optimization, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring financial discipline and data-driven thinking into day-to-day business decisions.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, MIS, and cash flow reports to provide real-time visibility into the business.
• Work directly with auditors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders as required.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc financial and business analysis to support founders in key strategic decisions.

Qualifications Required

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA Graduate or recently qualified CFA/CMA/CA (01 years) with strong fundamentals in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, accounting and Excel proficiency.
• High ownership mindset and attention to detail, paired with sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
