Job summary

EMotorad is seeking a Manager - Finance to oversee financial reporting, compliance, audits, taxation, budgeting, and business analysis. The candidate should be a qualified CA with 4–6 years post-qualification experience, preferably from startup/manufacturing/EV sectors.

The role requires strong accounting and MIS skills, proficiency in Excel and ERP software, and the ability to collaborate across functions. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-growing EV company.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4–6 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience in financial closure and MIS reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software; SAP exposure is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations and ensure accurate books of accounts.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Prepare and review MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and financial reports.
• Manage statutory, internal, tax, and other audits.
• Oversee GST, TDS, and other applicable tax compliances.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, inventory, and cash flows.
• Strengthen financial controls, SOPs, and finance processes.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with HR, Procurement, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA with 4 - 6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably from a startup, manufacturing, automotive, EV, consumer durable, or high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations and ensure accurate books of accounts.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
