Job summary

SURE in Mumbai is seeking a finance-focused professional to own the day-to-day accounting engine — GST, TDS, reconciliations, payments and monthly finance operations.

You'll collaborate with external CAs, CSs and legal partners, drive timely filings, maintain clean books, and support scalable finance processes as the startup grows. In-office role at Mulund West, Mumbai, 5 days.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on finance or accounting experience
• You have worked on GST and TDS
• Understand accounting basics and can reconcile numbers
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and Zoho or Tally

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting, vendor payments, reimbursements, bank reconciliations and clean books
• GST end-to-end: workings, reconciliations, input tax credit checks, return data and coordination for timely filings
• TDS end-to-end: calculations, deductions, payments, reconciliations and return data
• Monthly closing, basic MIS, cash-flow and expense reporting for the founders
• Payroll inputs and onboarding people-operations processes as the team grows
• A compliance tracker, plus coordination with our CA, CS and legal partners

This is a finance-first role for someone who likes numbers, ownership and figuring things out. You'll own the day-to-day accounting engine at Sure — GST, TDS, reconciliations, payments and monthly finance operations — while getting a front-row seat to how an early-stage company gets built.

We're looking for someone who understands the workings, spots gaps, asks the right questions and closes the loop. You'll have external CAs, CSs and legal partners to work with, but internally you'll be the person making sure things get done.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day accounting, vendor payments, reimbursements, bank reconciliations and clean books
