Job summary

VerSe Innovation in Bengaluru (India) is seeking a seasoned corporate accounting professional with CA-related qualifications and 3+ years of post-articleship experience. You will manage end-to-end accounting operations, handle month-end closings, and support audits with a detailed, accuracy-driven mindset.

You will leverage ERP systems and advanced Excel skills to prepare financial statements, ensure ledger integrity, and assist the Corporate Controller in statutory and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Com and CA Inter, or candidates who have completed a CA Articleship.
• Experience: 3+ years in a corporate accounting role post-articleship.
• Core competencies: Hands-on experience with ERP systems; expertise in controllership and financial reporting.
• Technical: MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Strong focus, detail-oriented, CA articleship foundation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, AP/AR, and Fixed Assets.
• Lead month-end closing with ledger reviews, reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
• Assist Corporate Controller with statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure ledger accuracy and support controllership through audits and closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Lead the month-end closing process, including ledger reviews, reconciliations, and preparing schedules for the Balance Sheet.
• Assist the Corporate Controller with statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure ledger accuracy and support the controllership function through audits and financial closings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.Com and CA Inter, or candidates who have completed a CA Articleship.
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in a corporate accounting role post-articleship.
• Core Competencies:
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in controllership functions and financial reporting.
• Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
• Strong focus, detail-oriented approach, and solid foundational training from a CA articleship.
