Job summary

Executive Tracks Associates in Bengaluru seeks a Commerce graduate with hands-on experience in F&A to join our finance team. The role emphasizes Ind-AS accounting, month-end and year-end closures, and preparation of standalone or consolidated financial statements.

Candidates should have SAP exposure, or Oracle with strong accounting closure skills, and experience with audit closures, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and advanced Excel. Real estate experience is a must.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Ind-AS accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing, GL/TB review, and closure entries.
• Involvement in preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• ERP exposure with SAP preferred; Oracle acceptable with strong closure skills.
• Experience in statutory/internal audits and audit closure processes.
• GST, TDS, reconciliations, MIS, and advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closure activities with accurate GL/TB reviews and entries.
• Apply Ind-AS principles in financial reporting and statement preparation.
• Prepare standalone and/or consolidated financial statements.
• Utilize SAP or equivalent ERP for closing processes; coordinate with auditors.
• Support audit schedules, workpapers, and statutory/compliance requirements.
• Handle GST, TDS, reconciliations, MIS reporting, and advanced Excel tasks.

Role & responsibilities

• Month-End/Year-End Closure: Prioritize candidates with hands-on experience in month-end and year-end book closure, General Ledger (GL)/Trial Balance (TB) review, and passing closure and adjustment entries.
• Ind-AS Expertise: Practical, hands-on experience with Ind-AS accounting is mandatory. Avoid candidates with exposure limited to US GAAP, IFRS, or other GAAP frameworks, as well as those with only theoretical knowledge or Ind-AS certifications.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Candidates must have been directly involved in preparing standalone and/or consolidated financial statements, rather than handling only financial reporting or MIS activities.
• ERP Exposure: SAP experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with Oracle or other comparable enterprise ERP experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong technical accounting and closure expertise.
• Audit & Compliance: Look for experience in statutory and/or internal audit closure, preparation of audit schedules and workpapers, and coordination with external and internal auditors.
• Additional Skills: Exposure to GST, TDS, account reconciliations, MIS preparation, Advanced Excel will be preferred.

• Educational Qualifications: Target CA Inter/Semi-qualified CA, MBA Finance, M.Com, and B.Com candidates. Do not consider fully qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs).
