Astranova Mobility seeks a Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience to join the Controlling function in Gurugram, India. The role covers financial statement analysis, month-end close, tax compliance, and interaction with budget owners.

The incumbent will drive process improvements, cooperate with auditors, and help establish accounting policies while maintaining integrity and ownership across the finance team.

Formación

• CA with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in Financial Services industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Indian GAAP, Direct and Indirect Taxation relating to corporate accounting.
• Strong presentation and computational skills.
• Experience in process improvements and detail orientation.
• Ownership, responsibility, integrity and commitment to the organization.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage the monthly financial book closing process, including ensuring revenue is earned and costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, balance reconciliations and report preparation.
• Interact with budget owners and stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and internal financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with tax statutes for all group entities.
• Ensure audits (statutory, internal, and others) are completed accurately and on time.
• Analyse statutory accounting practices and ensure correct application of GAAP.

We are looking for an experienced CA professional with 5+ years of experience in the field of

management Accounting/ Controlling function.

Controlling :

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage the monthly financial book closing process, including ensuring all revenue earned and costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation
• Interact at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through annual report
• Ensure Compliance to all relevant tax statutes for all Group entities
• Ensure the statutory, internal and other audits are completed accurately and within time
• Analyse the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Compliances :

• Ensure compliance with internal control policies
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance

Process Improvement :

• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
• Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades to internal software
• Providing leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; creating and promoting a positive and supportive work environment

Experience & Qualifications:

• CA with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. A candidate with prior experience in a supervisory role would be preferred
• Preferably from Financial Services industry background
• Knowledge of Indian GAAP, Direct and Indirect Taxation relating to Corporate Accounting
• Good presentation and computational skills.
• Experience in process improvements, organised with attention to detail
