Job summary

ICF is seeking a senior techno-commercial analyst in New Delhi to deliver integrated support for renewable energy programmes. You will review feasibility studies, DPRs and assess financial viability using IRR, NPV and LCOE as applicable, while reconciling funds and subsidies.

You will develop MIS dashboards, maintain project metrics and financial health reports, and coordinate with client PMU, state teams and utilities to ensure accurate, decision-ready outputs within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in engineering, renewable energy, management, economics or public policy.
• Minimum 5 years of techno-commercial experience leading or supporting renewable energy initiatives.
• Experience in preparing analytical reports and datasets; Floating Solar PV is desirable.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Undertake techno-commercial analysis and review feasibility studies and DPRs.
• Assess project financial viability using IRR, NPV, payback period and levelized cost of energy, as applicable.
• Validate technical designs, cost estimates, engineering assumptions and feasibility-study inputs from a techno-commercial perspective.
• Manage end-to-end financial reconciliation across project milestones and government subsidy releases.
• Prepare and maintain MIS dashboards covering project progress, operational metrics, regulatory milestones and financial health.
• Track state-wise and project-wise progress and highlight exceptions, delays and reconciliation gaps.
• Prepare analytical reports, management summaries and review material using validated data.
• Support coordination with finance, programme, engineering and state teams to ensure consistent physical and financial reporting.

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Master's degree in Engineering/Technology, Renewable Energy, Management, Economics, Public Policy or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of techno-commercial experience leading or supporting renewable energy initiatives and preparing analytical reports and datasets. Experience in Floating Solar PV projects is desirable.

• Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal and stakeholder information confidentially and follow approved access and information-security requirements.
• Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment.
