Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Finance Manager - Commercial Finance to partner with Sales, Vendor Management and Operations. You will provide financial leadership to drive profitable growth, improve revenue, margins, working capital and ensure governance.

You will translate complex numbers into clear business actions, lead monthly forecasts, budgeting and long-range plans, and present insights to senior leaders across the Reseller Group.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, margin analysis and profitability management.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate financial information into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CIMA, ACCA or CPA (or equivalent).
• Experience evaluating business cases, commercial agreements, large customer deals and investments.
• Understanding of vendor incentive programmes, rebates, MDF and vendor income forecasting.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, influencing and negotiation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models and scenarios for new products, partnerships and growth initiatives.
• Monitor performance against plans and flag financial risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Develop commercial dashboards and present monthly performance reviews to senior leaders.

You will join our Commercial Finance team, partnering closely with Sales, Vendor Management, Procurement, Operations and senior business leaders across the Reseller Group.

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial leadership, commercial insight and constructive challenge to support profitable growth. You will help the business improve revenue, margin, working capital and return on investment while maintaining strong financial governance.

You will translate complex financial information into clear business actions, enabling leaders to make informed commercial and strategic decisions.

What you'll do

• Partner with Reseller Business Leadership and Sales teams to drive profitable revenue growth and improve commercial performance.
• Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-range planning for revenue, gross margin, operating profit and cash flow.
• Analyse customer, vendor and product profitability, identifying margin leakage, commercial risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support the financial evaluation of large deals, bid proposals, pricing decisions, discounts and commercial agreements.
• Partner with Vendor Management teams to maximise vendor rebates, incentives, MDF and programme benefits.
• Prepare financial models, business cases, scenario analysis and investment evaluations for new products, partnerships and growth initiatives.
• Monitor business performance against plans and provide clear visibility of financial risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
• Develop commercial dashboards and present monthly performance reviews to senior business leaders.
• Support commercial negotiations and provide financial insight for strategic business reviews.
• Work with Finance and Operations teams to improve inventory management, accounts receivable, vendor funding, cash flow and the cash-conversion cycle.
• Ensure accurate recognition and reporting of revenue, margins and vendor income.
• Maintain compliance with financial controls, policies, audit requirements and governance standards.

What you'll need

• 10-15 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis or Finance Business Partnering.
• A professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong experience partnering with Sales, Vendor Management, Procurement, Operations or Commercial teams.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, margin analysis, pricing and profitability management.
• Experience evaluating business cases, commercial agreements, investments and large customer deals.
• Understanding of vendor incentive programmes, rebates, MDF and vendor income forecasting.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into practical business recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, influencing and negotiation capabilities.
• A results-oriented and data-driven approach, with high levels of integrity, accountability and financial discipline.
• Previous experience within technology distribution, IT resellers, hardware, software, telecommunications or channel-led businesses would be advantageous.
