Job summary

Qualifications

• SAP experience preferred; advanced Excel and Power BI skills.

• Prepare monthly management reports for the Senai entity.
• Analyze actual vs budget/forecast; identify root causes and actions.
• Support dashboards, PBT analysis by customer, and allocation of common costs.
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts for the Malaysia entity.
• Partner with Operations and GM to improve financial results.
• Review product costing and manufacturing variances.
• Assist in Malaysia Business Review presentations and ad-hoc projects.

We’re looking to add a Finance Manager (FP&A). The position is based in our site at Senai, Johor.

As a Finance Manager (FP&A), you will:

Responsible for Financial reporting and Financial Analysis of monthly results and performance of the site.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

1. Prepare and review monthly management reports for the Senai entity.
2. Perform detailed analysis of actual vs. budget/forecast results to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
3. Support preparation of dashboards, PBT analysis by customer, and other management reports, including allocation of common costs.

Budgeting & Forecasting

1. Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for the Malaysian entity.
2. Clearly articulate forecast assumptions for revenue, COGS, and production expenses.
3. Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Business Partnering

1. Act as a finance business partner to Operations and General Manager.
2. Collaborate with Operations on action plans to improve financial results, including:

• PPV claims from customers
• Material cost savings initiatives
• Repricing validation

1. Support Operations in achieving OPBT% targets set by top management.

Product Costing & Operational Finance

1. Support and review product costing activities.
2. Analyze production expenses and manufacturing variances.

Management & Ad-hoc Support

1. Assist Finance Controller and General Manager in preparing Malaysia Business Review presentations.
2. Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by Site or Regional Finance leadership.

Education and experience

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines.
• Hands-on, mature, and logical thinker.
• Strong business partnering and communication skills.
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (critical)
• Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills
• Power BI experience preferred
