Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with the Management team to draft, monitor and assess the business and development plan;
Provide and interpret financial information;
Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends; analyze change and advise accordingly;
Proactively follow-up on collections, invoicing and accounts receivables;
Formulate strategic and long‑term business plans;
Research and report on factors influencing business performance and analyze market trends;
Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
Proactively conduct reviews with leadership team and evaluate cost‑reduction and higher revenue opportunities;
Manage company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
Develop external relationships with suitable contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the tax authorities (in country and out of country);
Manage global and regional accounts and statutory matters with accounting firms and auditors;
Produce accurate financial reports within specific deadlines;
Manage invoice and payments to global vendors, contractors and employees;
Work with global sales team to ensure all invoices are sent out on time as per forecast;
Manage organization budgets;
Arrange, if required, for new sources of finance for a company’s debt facilities;
Supervise and mentor team members;
Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation;
Prepare the financial project plan, key milestones and deliverables;
Prepare and monitor budgets and client billing;
Exposure to financial systems and tools is beneficial (e.g., Tally, MS Office, QuickBooks, etc.);
Capable of critical thinking and identifying areas of opportunity for risk and improvements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws;
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing and training team members; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising their performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems;
Undertake such other duties and tasks as may lie within the scope of this post to ensure effective delivery and development.
