Job summary

Nsquare Xperts in Pune is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial strategy, planning, governance and operations. The CFO will partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term business value.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounting, taxation, treasury, and compliance, develop KPIs, implement ERP and automation, and manage relationships with banks, investors and auditors while building a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• 9-11 years of progressive experience in Finance.
• CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification; MBA Finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, taxation, treasury, and compliance.
• Proven experience in financial strategy, business partnering, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in fundraising, M&A, IPO readiness, or investor management is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s overall financial strategy.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business performance reviews.
• Oversee accounting, taxation, treasury, audit, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Monitor revenue, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and cost management.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board.
• Manage banking, investor, lender, auditor, and other key stakeholder relationships.
• Lead fundraising, debt financing, capital allocation, and investment initiatives.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, expansion plans, investments, and M&A activities.
• Establish strong internal controls, financial policies, governance, and risk management systems.
• Drive cost optimization and improve operational and financial efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accounting requirements.
• Lead financial transformation, ERP implementation, and process automation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team.
• Support the CEO and leadership team in strategic and commercial decision-making.

Requirements

• 9-11 years of progressive experience in Finance, including significant leadership experience.
• CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification; MBA Finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, taxation, treasury, and compliance.
• Proven experience in financial strategy, business partnering, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in fundraising, M&A, IPO readiness, or investor management is an advantage.
