Gautam Modi Group in Mumbai seeks a Finance Controller to support the Audi India dealership. You will ensure statutory compliance, accurate accounting, and timely financial reporting in line with applicable laws.

You will manage dealership finance operations, monitor working capital and cash flows, oversee billing and cash handling, and prepare audit-ready Balance Sheet and P&L reports. You will also generate risk, performance, and cash-flow analyses for management reviews.

Primary Responsibilities:

Statutory Requirements

Ensure appropriate compliance on all statutory and financial obligations (taxation, accounting, etc.) as per Audi India and the company’s act and law of the land

Ensure dealership compliance on all legal requirements as per the regulations applicable

Dealership Finance

Identify and highlight all financial and non-financial business risks that apply for sustained dealership operations to the dealership heads

Create working capital requirement reports and cash flows reports for the business

Ensure timely preparation of audit reports such as Balance Sheet, P&L for the dealership operations.

Business Monitoring

Prepare reports for business overview analysis (target vs. achievement) and performance analysis (including Metis report analysis) meetings

Monitor receivables from Audi India and customers and also payables to vendors, employees, VWFS and Audi India

Billing & Cash handling

Ensure that the billing executive is always available and is equipped to prepare correct bills as and when required

Ensure all Cash is handled as per the dealership guidelines

Track movement of cash across all dealership facilities and ensure reconciliation of all cash on a daily basis
