City Palace Museum, Jaipur seeks an experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to oversee the Trust’s day-to-day accounting, financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting requirements.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of accounting, TDS, GST, audit coordination, banking, and financial operations. The ideal candidate will independently manage routine finance and compliance activities with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong practical knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in handling accounting operations independently.
  • Good knowledge of GST, income tax, audits, and financial documentation.
  • Experience working with Trusts/NGOs/charitable institutions will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Tally/other accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of banking and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records of the Trust.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries, receipts, payments, expenses, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage bank reconciliation and monitor bank transactions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flows.
  • Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, returns, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely filing of applicable statutory returns and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain proper TDS certificates, challans, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for statutory matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable provisions relating to charitable/religious trusts and other relevant regulations.
  • Track compliance deadlines and ensure timely action.
  • Manage financial and administrative operations of the Trust.
  • Coordinate with banks, vendors, consultants, auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Process vendor payments, reimbursements, and other operational expenses.
  • Maintain proper records of donations, grants, expenses, and other receipts.
  • Ensure financial transactions are supported by appropriate approvals and documentation.
  • Assist management/trustees with financial information and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal/statutory auditors and provide required documents and information.
  • Prepare schedules, ledgers, reconciliations, and supporting documents for audits.
  • Identify discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
  • Prepare reports required by management/trustees.
