The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented and cross-functional Data Operations Specialist to join our growing Finance team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and operational readiness of our data pipelines and prompt systems. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments and possesses a keen eye for data anomalies, testing strategies, and documentation.

Core Responsibilities
Finance Operations:
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
  • Handle client invoicing, follow‑ups, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
  • Track project‑wise billing and ensure alignment with contracts or SOWs.
Payroll & Compliance:
  • Work closely with HR to process monthly payroll, reimbursements, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with PF, TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and CA firms for audits and tax filings.
  • Projections, Allocation & Fund Management.
  • Plan and manage cash flow, fund allocation, and working capital.
  • Prepare financial projections, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Track actuals vs budgets and highlight variances to management.
Reporting & Finance Readiness:
  • Prepare monthly expense reports and P&L summaries.
  • Organize and share accurate financial data such as P&L, balance sheets, bank statements, invoices, etc.
  • Ensure the company is finance‑ready with clean books and structured reporting at all times.
Global Exposure & Coordination:
  • Work with external partners and the legal team on US GAAP/EU accounting/IFRS‑related matters.
  • Liaise with EU/US counterparts to support audits, reviews, and finance discussions.
  • Understand when to involve external experts and collaborate with them effectively.

  • Prior experience in a tech company, services firm, or startup environment strongly preferred.
