You will oversee accounting, budgeting, taxation, and statutory compliance while partnering with founders to build scalable processes for rapid growth.

This role balances day-to-day financial operations with long-term planning in a fast-paced startup environment, focusing on fundraising support, financial planning, and robust governance.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/MBA Finance or related degree with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, payroll, audits, and banking operations.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally/Zoho Books/QuickBooks.

Job description

We are an early-stage Consumer AI startup looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead and manage the company's finance, accounting, compliance, and strategic financial operations.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the complete finance function—from accounting, budgeting, taxation, and statutory compliance to MIS reporting, payroll, fundraising support, and financial planning. You'll work closely with the founders to build scalable financial processes that support rapid business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and can balance day-to-day financial operations with long-term strategic planning.

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience handling GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, payroll, audits, and banking operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple finance functions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth company is highly preferred.
• CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
