Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analyses to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Monitor and control costs, identifying areas for efficiency improvements, and implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Oversee tax planning and filing, as well as audit processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, providing guidance on financial management practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them, including maintaining appropriate insurance coverage, managing credit risk, and ensuring effective internal controls.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization has sufficient funds to meet its operational needs. Oversee treasury functions and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, including capital projects, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of financial management principles, including accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency with financial software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling software.
