Job summary

WalkingTree Technologies is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join our finance team. The role focuses on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, monitor performance indicators, collaborate with other departments for data integrity, and contribute to process improvements while staying updated on industry changes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • CA/CPA is a plus.
  • Proven work experience in a finance-related role.
  • Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

  • Cost Analysis: Analyze costs, pricing, and profitability of products, services, and projects. Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for process improvements. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement cost control measures.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies. Participate in financial audits and assist in the development of internal controls and procedures. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Proven work experience in a finance-related role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software like tally and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
