Job summary

Space Inventive, Inc. is seeking a finance analyst to develop financial models and manage budgeting, forecasting, and business planning for IT/ITES operations. The role involves preparing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports to aid management reviews.

You'll handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, billing, and collections, and monitor project-level revenue and margins. Collaboration with HR, delivery, procurement, and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial principles and compliance, preferably in IT/ITES operations.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Hands‑on experience with financial systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning for IT/ITES operations.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, to support management reviews.
• Support day-to-day finance operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, billing, and collections.
• Track revenue, costs, and margins at a project or serviceline level, supporting analysis relevant to IT services delivery.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly closures by ensuring accuracy of entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support statutory compliance activities, including tax filings, regulatory submissions, and internal financial reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits by preparing schedules, providing data, and responding to audit queries.
• Stay updated on basic regulatory and accounting changes applicable to IT/ITES organizations and highlight impacts to the team.
• Work collaboratively with HR, delivery, procurement, and operations teams to support finance-related requirements.
