Job summary

Canis Talent Solutions seeks a senior finance and accounting professional to lead end-to-end financial operations for interior design/fit-out projects in Chennai. You will oversee project accounting, cost tracking, and billing cycles, ensuring profitability and compliance across GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

The role requires 10+ years in finance, 5+ years in management, and explicit experience in interior design or construction.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• 5+ years of managerial experience preferred.
• Mandatory experience in Interior Design / Fit-out / Construction.
• Strong experience in project accounting, cost tracking and project-based billing.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
• Experience in working capital and cash flow management.
• Knowledge of BOQ, retention, advance and milestone billing.
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP / Advanced MS Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
