Job summary

Biotastic Health Systems is looking for a Finance Intern in Chennai to support day-to-day accounting, keep books updated, and assist with GST/TDS compliance for audit readiness. You will handle entries in Tally, bank reconciliations, and MIS reporting while gaining hands-on exposure to the full accounting cycle.

The internship offers exposure to CA/lead finance interaction, strong Excel use, and a potential transition to a full-time role based on performance; in-office setup in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Tally and basic accounting entries.
• Strong Excel skills and data-handling abilities.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.
• Prior finance or accounting internship experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer ledgers.
• Maintain receivables, payables, and expense trackers in Excel.
• Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports on expenses, cash position, and ledger summaries.
• Organise invoices, vouchers, and GST/TDS documentation for CA and audit requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, missing bills, and duplicate entries, and ensure timely resolution.

About the internship:

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a detail-oriented Finance Intern who can help us maintain accurate financial records, manage day-to-day accounting, and keep our books updated and audit-ready.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally
2. Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer ledgers.
3. Maintain receivables, payables, and expense trackers in Excel
4. Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports on expenses, cash position, and ledger summaries
5. Organise invoices, vouchers, and GST/TDS documentation for CA and audit requirements.
6. Identify discrepancies, missing bills, and duplicate entries, and ensure timely resolution.

Other requirements:
