Opening Summary
We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Validation Intern to ensure the financial and accounting accuracy of our software systems. This role is ideal for candidates who understand finance and accounting concepts and want to apply them in validating product behavior, calculations, reports, and compliance workflows. You will work closely with product, QA, and engineering teams to validate accounting logic, financial reports, and edge‑case scenarios across multiple modules.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in accounting and basic finance concepts.
- Ability to validate numerical accuracy and financial logic in systems.
- Comfort with reviewing reports, balances, and reconciliations.
- Ability to document validation findings clearly and systematically.
- Must be available full‑time for the entire 6‑month internship duration.
Responsibilities
- Validate accounting workflows including journal entries, vouchers, ledgers, and trial balance.
- Verify financial calculations related to income, expenses, accruals, provisions, and depreciation.
- Validate financial statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Cross‑check system‑generated reports against expected accounting outcomes.
- Identify functional gaps, inconsistencies, and calculation issues and report them clearly.
- Create validation checklists and test scenarios for finance and accounting use cases.
- Support reconciliation, audit readiness, and compliance validations.
Preferred Qualification
Experience using accounting or ERP software such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks. Exposure to GST, taxation, depreciation, and statutory compliance. Familiarity with software testing, validation frameworks, or audit processes. Interest in FinTech, accounting automation, or SaaS platforms.

Stipend Eligibility Criteria
- Complete the entire 6‑month internship period without early exit.
- Maintain minimum 80% attendance as per company policy.
- Complete assigned validations, reconciliations, and documentation on time.
- Actively participate in reviews, discussions, and validation walkthroughs.
- Adhere to confidentiality, accuracy, and professional conduct standards.
- Early exit or termination due to performance or conduct issues will void stipend eligibility.
