Job summary

Envirogene Design Studiox in Bhubaneswar, Odisha invites a Junior Accountant Intern to support accurate financial records and learn routine accounting tasks within a hands-on internship. You will enter invoices in Tally, assist bank reconciliations, organize records, and help GST and reporting while using MS Excel to maintain trackers and summaries.

This in-office internship spans six months, starting from Nov 1, 2026, with stipend INR 5,000–7,000 per month and perks like certificate and letter

Qualifications

• CA Inter level accounting knowledge is required.
• Proficiency in Tally software is essential.
• Strong MS Excel skills for tracking and reporting.
• Understanding of GST and bank reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices, receipts, payments and other transactions in Tally, checking entries for accuracy.
• Assist with bank reconciliations by comparing statements with ledger records and documenting follow-ups.
• Organize purchase and sales records and verify supporting documents for entries.
• Support GST-related recordkeeping and assist with return preparation.
• Use MS Excel to update financial trackers, reconciliations and provide clear summaries.
• Monitor outstanding payables/receivables by updating schedules and flag overdue items.
• Maintain orderly digital and physical files for invoices and statements.

About the internship:

At M Choudhury & Co, our Junior Accountant Intern will support accurate, well-organized financial records while gaining hands-on experience with routine accounting and reporting tasks.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Enter invoices, receipts, payments, and other transactions in Tally, checking entries for accuracy and completeness.
2. Assist with bank reconciliations by comparing statements with ledger records, identifying differences, and helping document follow-up items.
3. Organize purchase and sales records and help verify that supporting documents are available for accounting entries.
4. Support GST-related recordkeeping by checking transaction details, organizing relevant data, and assisting with return preparation.
5. Use MS Excel to update financial trackers, maintain reconciliations, and prepare clear summaries from accounting records.
6. Help monitor outstanding payables and receivables by updating schedules and flagging overdue or unmatched items.
7. Maintain orderly digital and physical files so invoices, statements, and other financial documents can be retrieved when needed.
