Aequs SEZ Private Limited (Aequs Infra Division) in Belagavi, Karnataka, invites a qualified Chartered Accountant to join as Deputy Manager – Taxation, FP&A, and Finance operations. You will partner with business leaders to drive tax compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include GST and income tax compliance, SEZ filings, financial planning & analysis, MIS dashboards, and robust internal controls, with SAP reporting and AI-powered tools

Qualifications

• CA with minimum 3 years of experience in taxation, FP&A, and accounting.
• Experience in SEZ compliance and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP/ERP, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Direct & indirect taxation including GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
• SEZ filings and statutory compliance tracking.
• FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and MIS reporting.
• Month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
• Projects: process improvements, automation, and internal controls.

Job SummaryLooking for Qualified CA responsible for Taxation, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Financial Reporting, SEZ compliance, and business finance support. The role will partner with business stakeholders to drive financial performance, compliance, process efficiency, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct & Indirect Taxation
  • GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and advisory.
  • TDS review, payments, return filing, and tax audit support.
  • Income tax compliance, Form 15CA (145) /15CB (146) filings, and assessment support.

• Other Compliances.
• Monthly, half-yearly, and annual SEZ filings.
• Managing statutory compliance trackers and regulatory requirements.

• FP&A & Business Finance
• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance monitoring.
• MIS, management reporting, dashboards, and business presentations.
• Financial analysis, profitability reviews, and decision-support reporting.

• Accounting & Reporting
  • Month-end/year-end closure and financial statement preparation.
  • Account reconciliations and audit coordination.
  • Fixed asset accounting and insurance management.

• Projects & Process Improvement: Support due diligence, valuation, IPO, and business expansion initiatives. Drive automation, SAP reporting enhancements, process standardization, and internal controls.
