Job summary

Volcafe, part of ED&F Man Commodities, is seeking a Finance Executive CPRS to manage counterparty risk assessment in a global trading environment. You will review financial statements, credit reports, and KYC documents, and maintain counterparty records to support risk controls.

Based in the Bangalore office, you'll collaborate with the Finance & Accounting Team, monitor credit limits, prepare data packs for reviews, and ensure compliance with internal controls while working in APAC

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelors degree in related field with 3–5 years of experience; attention to detail; basic accounting knowledge; proficiency in accounting software.
• Experience in Counterparty Risk Assessment, Credit Risk Analysis, Exposure Assessment, Limit Setting and Management, Due Diligence and Monitoring, Risk Mitigation & Reporting and Compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and strong analytical/quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support in collecting and organizing counterparty data (financial statements, KYC documents, credit reports).
• Perform initial review and validation of submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain and update counterparty records and credit files in internal systems.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of credit limits between trading and risk management systems.
• Track and report on documentation status, renewals, and missing information.
• Assist in preparing summary reports and data packs for credit reviews.
• Monitor exposure limits and eliminate breaches or exceptions to the Risk Team.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and company policies.

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Finance Executive CPRS in Finance & Accounting Team to work in a truly global environment where the overall purpose of the role is to manage Counterparty Risk Assessment function by ensuring evaluating the potential financial risk associated with a company trading or lending counterparties, reporting to Finance Team Manager.

This role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast-paced soft commodities environment. This role will be based in Volcafe office in Bangalore, India

Key Accountabilities

Skills and Experience

• Masters or bachelors degree in related field from a well-recognized institute along with 3-5 years of experience with attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency in accounting software, along with experience in Counterparty Risk Assessment, Credit Risk Analysis, Exposure Assessment, Limit Setting and Management, Due Diligence and Monitoring, Risk Mitigation & Reporting and Compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. (Excel)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Financial analysis and credit assessment expertise.
• Knowledge of counterparty risk management principles and practices.
• Understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Important: This position requires employees to work in either of the work timings below - APAC Region: - 8:00am to 5:00pm IST
