Job summary

THE SMALL BIG IDEA (TSBI) in Mumbai is seeking a payroll and accounting professional to manage monthly salary processing, tax calculations, and TDS for employees.

You will ensure compliance with Income Tax Returns, Advance Tax, TDS, GST, and related statutory requirements; coordinate with auditors; and lead MIS reporting using HRMS and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly salary processing and Income tax calculation / TDS of employees.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as Income Tax Returns, Advance Tax, TDS, GST, etc.
• Assembling data for such compliances and advising management on required actions.
• Oversee the Accounting function, including documentation & overseeing book-keeping, accounting & financial matters
• Coordinate with Statutory or other Auditors
• Extensively work on HRMS software for payroll processing and QuickBooks for Accounting
• Prepare monthly MIS statements by collecting and analyzing data and comparing data with budgets.
