Job summary

Meru Activs, a D2C brand focused on nutritional supplements for India's 50+, invites an experienced finance professional to join our growing team in Mumbai.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, P&L, balance sheet, MIS reporting, and audit/documentation, while optimizing cost structures and margin analysis for our e-commerce operations.

Qualifications

• CA-Inter/semi-qualified, or M.Com or MBA Finance with hands-on Tally, GST and TDS experience.
• 4+ years of experience, preferably in D2C or e-commerce.
• Strong grasp of contribution margin analysis and cost structures.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day Tally entries, ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Monthly P&L and balance sheet preparation (with provisions).
• Tracking of CM1, CM2, and CM3 profitability.
• PO, payment management.
• Ongoing investor-grade MIS reporting.
• Being the go-to point person for audit and compliance documentation.

Meru Activs is a D2C brand specialising in nutritional supplements for India's 50+. We currently sell on our own website and Amazon India, and are rapidly expanding to new marketplaces.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Day-to-day Tally entries, ledger and bank reconciliation
• Monthly P&L and balance sheet preparation (with provisions)
• Tracking of CM1, CM2, and CM3 profitability
• PO, payment management
• Ongoing investor-grade MIS reporting
• Being the go-to point person for audit and compliance documentation

Qualification

• CA-Inter/semi-qualified, or M.Com or MBA Finance with strong hands-on Tally, GST, and TDS experience
• 4+ years of experience, with a strong preference for a D2C or e-commerce background
• Strong grasp of contribution margin analysis and cost structures

Nice to have

• Experience building or improving a reconciliation process from scratch, not just following one
• Familiarity with Shopify, Uniware, or Shiprocket, or a similar D2C ops stack
