Job summary

Talent Corner HR Services is seeking a Senior Accountant in Gurugram to manage day-to-day accounting on Tally and Zoho Books, ensuring audit readiness and reconciliations across banks, vendors, and marketplaces.

You will prepare monthly MIS, cash flow statements, and support GST, TDS, TCS compliance while coordinating with auditors and consultants. The role requires strong Excel skills and the ability to handle high-volume transactions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and TCS reconciliation.
• Experience preparing MIS reports and Cash Flow Statements.
• Comfortable with high transaction volumes and multiple marketplace formats.
• Exposure to automation tools (Zapier, macros, Power Query, scripts) is a plus.

Role - Sr. Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Books & Reconciliation

• Maintain day-to-day accounting on Tally and Zoho Books, ensuring both systems remain reconciled and audit-ready
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer/marketplace payout reconciliations (Swiggy, Zepto, Blinkit, BigBasket, Amazon, AIRPL, etc.)
• Reconcile marketplace settlement reports against sales and receivables a high-volume, detail-heavy area given the number of SKUs/channels

Statutory Compliance

• Own GST compliance: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, input tax credit matching, and annual returns (GSTR-9/9C support)
• Manage TDS: computation, deduction, payment, quarterly return filing (24Q/26Q), and issuance of Form 16/16A
• Handle TCS applicability and compliance relevant to e-commerce operator transactions
• Reconcile Form 26AS / AIS against books and follow up on mismatches
• Coordinate with consultants/auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly MIS reports P&L, channel-wise profitability, expense tracking, budget vs actuals
• Prepare Cash Flow Statements (CFS) and support cash flow planning/working capital tracking
• Support the founders with ad hoc financial analysis (channel margins, cost breakdowns, burn rate)

Process & Controls

• Identify opportunities to automate reconciliation and reporting workflows (this is a strong plus for the team - we actively use automation to reduce manual, repetitive finance work)
• Maintain proper documentation and filing for statutory and audit purposes
• Support payroll-related compliance (PF/ESI/PT) if required

Requirements

• Relevant experience in accounting/finance, ideally in FMCG, D2C, e- commerce, or quick-commerce-heavy businesses
• Hands-on working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and Form 26AS/AIS reconciliation
• Experience preparing MIS reports and Cash Flow Statements independently
• Comfortable working with high transaction volumes and multiple marketplace/settlement formats
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; exposure to any automation (Zapier, macros, Power Query, scripts) is a plus
