Job summary

ASR India is hiring a Finance Executive for a fast-growing sustainable clothing brand. The candidate will support day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate accounting, timely processing, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities span AR, AP, or treasury with ERP and MS Excel proficiency. The role requires a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory rules, plus attention to detail and ownership of duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or MBA (Finance).
• About 23 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Basic understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/customers.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and record vendor invoices, expenses, sales, collections, and entries in ERP.
• Perform reconciliations for vendors, customers, banks, E-commerce, MBO/EBO.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes including payments and ageing.
• Prepare monthly MBO/Ecom settlement file.
• Track debtors and follow up for collection and ageing.
• Handle statutory compliance including E-Invoicing and E-Way Bills.
• Maintain vendor master data and supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly provisions and assist period-end closure.
• Generate cash flow and ageing reports; coordinate with stakeholders.

Role Overview :

The Finance Executive will support the management of day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate accounting, timely processing of transactions, proper documentation, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves handling assigned responsibilities in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Treasury.

Role & responsibilities

• Process and record vendor invoices, expense bookings, sales, collections, and accounting entries in ERP.
• Perform vendor, customer, bank, E-commerce, MBO, EBO, and other reconciliation activities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes including payment scheduling, collection tracking, and ageing follow-up.
• Prepare monthly MBO/Ecom settlement file.
• Track debtors and follow-up for collection and track the ageing for debtors.
• Handle statutory compliance activities including E-Invoicing, and E-Way Bills.
• Maintain vendor master data, job work records, debit/credit notes, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly provisions, support period-end closure, and ensure compliance with internal controls and approval processes.
• Generate cash flow reports, ageing reports, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce (B. Com / M. Com) or MBA (Finance)
• 23 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations
