Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in Bengaluru is seeking a Finance Director - Reporting & Data Analytics to lead enterprise reporting and data governance initiatives. You will drive modernization across Azure, Databricks, and Power BI to enable data-driven decision making at scale.

The role oversees global analytics teams, partners with Finance, Sales and Operations, and ensures auditable, compliant reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification preferred.
  • Typically 12+ years in a finance function with strong leadership experience.
  • Experience leading global analytics, reporting, and data engineering teams.

Job Description:
Enterprise Analytics & Reporting Leadership

Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise reporting and analytics platforms. Lead the delivery of executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting across multiple business functions. Oversee enterprise reporting systems supporting financial, operational, and strategic business processes. Drive automation and simplification of reporting processes to improve efficiency and user adoption.

Data Governance & Business Intelligence

Establish and maintain enterprise data governance standards, policies, and operating models. Ensure consistent KPI definitions and metric alignment across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Services organizations. Lead metadata governance and data quality initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional alignment on business metrics and reporting standards.

Platform Modernization & Data Strategy

Lead modernization initiatives involving Azure, Databricks, Power BI, AI, and cloud-based analytics platforms. Develop business cases and transformation roadmaps for legacy reporting platform migrations. Partner with enterprise architecture and engineering teams to define scalable data platform strategies. Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to enhance reporting, forecasting, and decision support.

Financial Reporting & Planning Solutions

Direct solutions supporting:

  • Orders and shipments reporting
  • Billing and revenue analytics
  • General Ledger reporting
  • P&L and balance sheet reporting
  • Procurement and spend analytics
  • Workforce and headcount reporting
  • Financial planning and forecasting

Ensure reporting integrity, auditability, and compliance with financial policies.

Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as the primary analytics advisor to senior business and finance leaders. Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and data solutions. Influence executive stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and strategic insights. Build strong partnerships across global business organizations.

Leadership & Talent Development

Lead and develop high-performing global analytics, reporting, and data engineering teams. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric delivery. Establish performance objectives, development plans, and succession strategies. Drive collaboration across geographically distributed teams and business functions.

Education and Experience Required

First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred. Typically 12+ years of experience in a finance function or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business. Typically 4+ years of people management experience.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.

– Poland: Annual Salary PLN 353,000 - 705,000

The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
