Job summary

A prominent consulting firm in Bengaluru is looking for a Finance Controller to oversee accounting transactions and manage a finance team of 5-8 members. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Hardcore Accounting and Inventory Valuation within Manufacturing Industries. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with IGAAP, preparing financial statements, and conducting statutory audits. A CA/CMA qualification is necessary, along with essential skills in Tally and SAP.

Job description

Finance Controller

Must Have:

– Hardcore Accounting

– Inventory Valuation from Manufacturing Industries

Responsibilities:

– Review of accounting transactions as per IGAAP on a timely basis.

– Ensure accuracy in General Ledgers, Month Closures, Month end accruals,

– Provisions for expenses and Finalization of Trial Balances.

– Review of all accounting transactions as per policy and assigning proper work allocation to team. Setting their KPI.

– Preparation of Monthly MIS – Debtors Aging, Creditors Aging, Fixed Assets Schedules, Stores ledger, Inventory reports, Monthly Operating Reporting comparing with the Budgets etc.

– Through understanding on Internal Financial Control Frame works and verifying transactions as per the IFC.

– Accounting reconciliations and statement to math with the TB and Financial Reports.

– Understanding Branch Accounting – Managing transactions between Head office and Branch and ensuring proper reconciliations done periodically.

– Understanding on Consolidation of Accounts – Holding and Subsidiary companies.

– Understanding of Inventory accounting and costing.

– Understanding Tally and SAP.

– Managing finance team of at least 5 to 8 people.

– Preparation Financials Statement (P&L, BS, Cashflow, Notes etc.) as per Companies Act.

– Completing Internal Audits and Statutory audits as per Companies Act.

– Ensuring Statutory filing and Annual Return filing under Companies Act and good understanding about Company secretarial works.

– Working knowledge on TDS & GST filings

– Working knowledge on Payroll process, PF, PT & ESI filing

– Good Awareness about Banking & Loan transactions. Also, able to do Fund planning.

– Knowledge of Insurance policies and renewal is a preferred skill.
