Responsibilities

• Excel-based data analysis and financial reporting with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
• Accounting support: routine activities, invoice verification, reconciliations.
• Purchase orders: create and track using Smartsheet.
• Expense & banking ops: verify receipts, upload payments, maintain records.
• Process improvement: identify discrepancies and suggest improvements.

Job description

• Excel & Reporting: Work extensively with Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF formulas, and other Excel functions for data analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting.


• Accounting: Assist in routine accounting activities, invoice verification, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.


• Purchase Orders: Create, verify, and track purchase orders using Smartsheet.


• Expense Management: Verify receipts, supporting documents, and expense transactions through Payhawk.


• Banking Operations: Upload approved payments, verify beneficiary details, check payment status, and maintain payment records.


• Process Improvement: Support financial reporting, identify discrepancies, and suggest improvements to routine finance processes.

Required Skills

• Strong practical Excel proficiency, particularly Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and lookup formulas (mandatory).


• Clear understanding of basic accounting concepts.


• Good analytical skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail.


• Quick adaptability to new software and digital finance tools.


• Decent written and verbal communication skills.


• Proactive attitude, ownership of work, and eagerness to learn.


• Basic awareness of AI tools such as ChatGPT and their practical applications.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience with Smartsheet, Payhawk, ERP/accounting software, or similar platforms. Training can be provided to candidates with strong fundamentals and good learning ability.
