Ellipse Cricviz is seeking an experienced accountant in Mumbai to manage daily accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records. The role involves reconciliations, vendor interactions, and maintaining GST/TDS compliance across international geographies.

You will work with Zoho and Xero, support monthly closes, and help improve finance processes. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Zoho and Xero accounting software.
• Experience with GST and TDS.
• Experience with international geographies.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Daily reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions.
• Daily cash posting and receipt requests.
• Allocate daily customer remittances.
• Process staff expenses regularly.
• Manage purchase ledger invoices daily.
• Handle accounts mailbox and supplier queries.
• Liaise with internal departments for invoice approvals.
• Assist with credit control and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support Financial Controller with payment runs.
• Document finance processes and controls.
• Update Xero records for purchases, sales, payroll.

Role & responsibilities

• Daily Reconciliation of bank and credit cards transactions.


• Daily cash posting, requesting receipts.


• Daily customer remittances allocation.


• Processing staff expenses on regular basis


• Manage the purchase ledger invoices on daily basis


• Manage the accounts mailbox


• First point of contact for supplier queries


• Liaising with internal departments to obtain approval of purchase invoices.


• Assisting with Credit control across the entities


• Assisting Financial Controller with payment runs.


• Assisting Financial Controller with balance sheet reconciliations.


• Documentation of finance processes and controls.


• Assisting with updating all existing records on Xero i.e. purchase, sales and payroll.


• Dealing with ad-hoc requests from Financial Controller

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in accounting


• Proficiency in accounting software - particularly Zoho


• Experience with Xero


• Prior experience in working for international geographies


• Working knowledge of GST and TDS


• Excellent Communication Skills


• Attention to detail


• Ability to work unsupervised
