Job summary

Atech Cloud is seeking a Finance Assistant in Ahmedabad to support the Finance team with a wide range of accounting tasks and month-end activities. You will handle invoices, reconciliations and reporting with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team to support a busy finance function. Prior Azure licensing billing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Part qualified accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) in progress.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Experience with monthly CSP/NCE Azure licensing billing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurate processing, issuing and uploading client invoices from multiple data sources.
• Review and maintain up-to-date bank reconciliations and resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain a list of supplier invoice queries and resolve with supplier and Provisioning team.
• Process incoming supplier invoices, review statements, obtain copies and resolve account queries promptly.
• Assist in weekly cashflow forecasting and support cash management.
• Prepare and compute prepayments, accruals and deferrals.
• Produce and maintain reporting documentation for ongoing analysis.
• Perform general journal calculations, preparation and posting.
• Assist in month-end accounts analysis of monthly trends.

Overview

This role will support members of the Finance team within Atech Cloud and take on their own responsibilities for a wide range of accounting and Finance tasks.

The role requires a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks undertaken, supporting all areas of the Finance department, leading to the completion of month end accounts.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Accurate processing, issuing and uploading client invoices using multiple data sources
• Review and maintain up to date bank reconciliations, including resolution of issues.
• Prepare and maintain a list of all supplier invoice queries and participate in a meeting with supplier and Provisioning team to resolve them.
• Responsible for processing incoming supplier invoices, reviewing supplier statements, requesting copy invoices/credit notes and resolving any account queries that arise in a timely manner.
• Assistance in preparation of weekly cashflow forecasting and support in business cash management.
• Preparation, calculation, maintenance and control of prepayments, accruals and deferrals.
• Producing and maintaining varying reporting documentation, in order to assist with ongoing analysis.
• General journal calculation, preparation and posting.
• Assistance in production of month end accounts analysis of monthly trends.

Company Structure and alignment

• Reporting to the Finance Director.
• Provides day-to-day functions within the finance department.

Competencies

The assistant accountant should be part qualified, studying to complete a relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).

As the business environment is constantly evolving, you will be expected to continuously update your learning and knowledge throughout your career.

Proficiency of Microsoft Excel is a must.

Previous experience with monthly Microsoft CSP/NCE azure and licence billing would be an advantage, along with knowledge of Microsoft rebates and incentives.
