Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking a qualified cost accounting professional to lead costing activities across the value chain. The role focuses on BOM costing, product profitability, and efficiency improvements in a manufacturing setting.

The candidate will analyze conversion costs, inventory valuations, and make vs buy decisions while driving cost reductions and ensuring accurate cost allocations across business segments. CA/MBA qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualification experience in costing / manufacturing finance / management accounting.
• Preferably from Automotive / Auto Components / Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BOM, material costs, consumption, scrap, and product profitability.
• Evaluate conversion costs, capacity utilization, productivity, and fixed costs.
• Monitor inventory levels, turnover, slow/non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Conduct contribution margin, product profitability and spare parts analysis.
• Support inter-company and related-party pricing as per company policies.
• Drive cost reduction and cost optimization initiatives across materials and operations.
• Analyze bought-out component costs and investment effectiveness.
• Ensure proper cost allocation across business segments.
• Support new product costing, pricing and Make vs Buy analysis.
• Handle monthly costing closure, cost audits, variance analysis and inventory valuation.
