Job summary

Pluscorp Consulting is seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounts Controller to run day-to-day finance operations and support the CFO from our Head Office in Madurai. This execution-focused role covers accounting, reporting, compliance, treasury, and payroll oversight for a large multi-location services business.

The ideal candidate has about 15 years of progressive finance experience, CA/CMA/CPA qualification, and strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, and TDS.

Qualifications

• 15 years of progressive finance experience; ideally from a KPO/BPO, HR/compliance, staffing, or similar services background.
• Experience managing finance across multiple locations in India is a plus.
• Professional qualification: CA/CMA/CPA.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory compliance; comfortable with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Closing – Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures, ledgers, and reconciliations across all locations
• Reporting & MIS – Prepare monthly financial reports and dashboards for the CFO and leadership
• Compliance & Tax – Ensure timely GST, TDS, income tax, and ROC compliance
• Audit & Controls – Manage statutory/internal audits and strengthen internal controls
• Budgeting – Support annual budgeting and track performance against it
• Treasury – Manage banking, cash flow, and working capital across locations
• Billing & Collections – Oversee client billing and drive timely collections
• Payroll Oversight – Provide financial oversight for company payroll and statutory payroll compliance
• Systems – Drive better use of ERP/finance systems and process automation
• Team Leadership – Build and lead the finance team across locations
• Business Partnering – Act as a trusted deputy to the CFO on day-to-day finance matters

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounts Controller to run the company's day-to-day finance operations and support the CFO in keeping the finance function tight and well-controlled. This is an execution-focused role for someone who can manage finance for a multi-location services business with high billing volumes and a large payroll/staffing operation. The ideal candidate brings about 15 years of finance experience and will own accounting, reporting, compliance, internal controls, treasury, and billing/collections freeing the CFO to focus on strategy. The position is based out of our Head Office in Madurai.

Candidate Requirements

• ~15 years of progressive finance and accounts experience, ideally from a KPO/BPO, HR/compliance, staffing, or similar services background
