Job summary

Zetwerk is hiring an Accounting & Finance professional to support the setup and operations of our greenfield solar manufacturing facility for solar cells and modules in Tamil Nadu. The role covers day-to-day accounting, AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end close, GST/TDS compliance and financial reporting.

You will also assist CAPEX accounting, CWIP tracking, fixed asset capitalization, vendor payments, expense monitoring and inventory-related accounting, working closely with procurement,

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial projects or plant setup preferred.
• Solar/renewable industry experience mandatory; hands-on with SAP or other ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Indian accounting/taxation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities across AP/AR and GL.
• Perform bank and vendor reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Ensure GST and TDS compliance and timely financial reporting.
• Support CAPEX accounting, CWIP tracking, and fixed asset capitalization.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, production and leadership for accurate records.

Job description

We are looking for an Accounting & Finance professional to support the setup and operations of our greenfield solar manufacturing facility for solar cells and modules. The role will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, bank and vendor reconciliations, month-end closing, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting.

The candidate will also support factory setup activities, including CAPEX accounting, CWIP tracking, fixed asset capitalization, vendor payments, expense monitoring, and inventory-related accounting. The role will work closely with procurement, stores, production, project teams and plant leadership to ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls and timely reporting.

Preferred Profile: 3 to 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in manufacturing, industrial projects or a plant setup environment. Mandatory to have solar industry/ renewable industry experience. Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Indian accounting and taxation requirements is preferred.
