Valuelabs in Chennai, India is seeking an experienced Finacle Developer / Senior Finacle Developer (Core Banking) to drive customization, integration, and production support across Retail Assets and Core Banking platforms.

The role requires hands-on work with Finacle 11.x, FI, Connect24, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and scripting. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, participate in architecture reviews, and ensure code quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Infosys Finacle / EdgeVerve Finacle Core Banking.
• Hands-on with Finacle 11.x architecture, customization, and integrations.
• Experience in production support and incident stabilization for Retail Assets/Core Banking.

Responsibilities

• Production Support & Stabilization for Retail Assets and Core Banking platforms.
• Develop and customize Finacle Core Banking solutions using 11.x architecture.
• Implement Finacle customizations: menus, MRT/Jasper reports, batch jobs, EOD/BOD.
• Develop and maintain Finacle integrations using FI, Connect24, and APIs.
• Build Oracle SQL/PL/SQL components; design and troubleshoot SQL scripts and procedures.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders; participate in architecture reviews and delivery ceremonies.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finacle Developer with strong expertise in Finacle Core Banking, Finacle Customization, Integrations, Oracle Development, and Production Support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on Finacle 11.x product architecture, customization frameworks, interfaces, and production stabilization for Retail Assets and Core Banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Stabilization

• Support Retail Assets Automation Testing and resolve production defects and PBIs.
• Manage production stability by triaging and resolving critical incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.
• Coordinate with development teams for patches, upgrades, deployments, and defect resolution.
• Drive stabilization initiatives across multiple banking entities including ENBD, Emirates Islamic (EI), and international subsidiaries.

Finacle Development & Customization

• Develop and enhance Finacle Core Banking solutions using Finacle 11.x architecture.
• Design and implement Finacle customizations including:
• Custom Menus
• Product Menu Enhancements
• MRT Reports
• Jasper Reports
• Batch Jobs
• EOD/BOD Processes
• Finacle Integrator Enhancements
• Diagnose and troubleshoot application, customization, and production issues.

Integration & Oracle Development

• Develop and maintain Finacle integrations using:
• Finacle Integrator (FI)
• Connect24
• Product APIs
• Custom APIs
• Build and optimize Oracle database components including:
• SQL
• PL/SQL
• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Triggers
• Develop Unix Shell Scripts and Finacle Scripts to support banking operations and automation.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Interact directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and solution design workshops.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, unit testing, and documentation practices.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and project delivery activities.

Must Have Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Infosys Finacle / EdgeVerve Finacle Core Banking.
• Strong expertise in Finacle 11.x Product Architecture and Customization.
