Job summary

GSSTech Group seeks a Finacle Test Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our banking technology team. This role focuses on Finacle testing within a core banking transformation, delivering automation-driven coverage across CRM, Core Banking and Payments modules.

You will build and maintain automated suites using Selenium with Java or Playwright with Node.js, validate SOAP/REST APIs, perform in-sprint automation, and support UAT with business users to validate real-world banking scenarios.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Finacle testing experience, preferably on Finacle 11X, with exposure to live banking environments.
• Hands-on experience across CRM, Core Banking, and Payments modules.
• Solid understanding of Assets and Liabilities banking domain, including loans and deposits workflows.
• Proficiency in Selenium with Java or Playwright with Node.js, building frameworks.
• Working knowledge of FIXML and SQL for backend data validation.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery methodology.
• Strong defect documentation and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional and regression tests for Finacle 11X across CRM, Core Banking, and Payments.
• Validate end-to-end flows for assets and liabilities: accounts, loans, deposits, and payments.
• Build, extend, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium with Java or Playwright with Node.js.
• Perform in-sprint automation testing aligned with Agile delivery cycles.
• Validate SOAP and REST Finacle APIs in the automation framework.
• Conduct integration testing across upstream and downstream systems.
• Log, track, and manage defects through full lifecycle using JIRA, ALM, etc.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and test case reviews.
• Prepare test summary reports, coverage metrics, and defect analysis.
• Support UAT cycles with business users to validate real world banking scenarios.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Finacle Test Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our banking technology team. This role sits within a core banking transformation program and requires strong hands on expertise in Finacle testing, with a focus on delivering high quality, automation driven test coverage across CRM, Core Banking, and Payments modules. You will work on systems that directly support banking operations, so precision, domain understanding, and disciplined testing practices matter more here than in a generic QA role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test cases for Finacle 11X core banking across CRM, Core Banking, and Payments modules
• Validate end to end functional flows covering Assets and Liabilities tracks, including account opening, loan origination, deposits, and payment processing where applicable
• Build, extend, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium with Java or Playwright with Node.js
• Perform in sprint automation testing aligned with Agile delivery cycles, ensuring test coverage keeps pace with development velocity
• Validate SOAP and REST Finacle APIs as part of the automation framework, including request and response verification against expected business logic
• Conduct integration testing across upstream and downstream systems connected to Finacle
• Log, track, and manage defects through the full lifecycle using tools [ JIRA, ALM, etc.]
• Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, stand ups, retrospectives, and test case reviews
• Prepare test summary reports, coverage metrics, and defect analysis for stakeholders
• Support UAT cycles and coordinate with business users to validate real world banking scenarios

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Finacle testing experience, preferably on Finacle 11X, with demonstrated exposure to live banking environments
• Hands on experience across CRM, Core Banking, and Payments modules, not just one
• Solid understanding of Assets and Liabilities banking domain, including product level knowledge of loans, deposits, and related workflows
• Proficiency in Selenium with Java or Playwright with Node.js, with the ability to build frameworks, not just execute existing scripts
• Working knowledge of FIXML message structures and SQL for backend data validation
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery methodology
• Strong defect documentation and root cause analysis skills

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in Finacle implementation or migration testing projects
• Knowledge of Finacle scripting (Finacle Script or similar) and log validation techniques
• Exposure to CI or CD pipelines for automated test execution
• Familiarity with performance or load testing tools is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in software testing, with substantial time specifically on Finacle Banking or fintech domain experience strongly preferred
